Mission Statement
‘We believe that God has called us to be Christ in the Community of Higham Ferrers.’
We achieve this through seeing ourselves as :-
Our WORSHIPPING community is Eucharistic, utilising the talents and abilities of each member through Liturgy, Music, Ritual and upholding the Sacramental principle that God communicates his presence through the beauty of his created order.
Our WITNESSING community seeks to spread the God News of Jesus by endeavouring to live exemplary lives in communion with the saint of the church and yet recognising our failures and learning to move forward in Christ through His forgiveness.
Our BELONGING community sees itself by virtue of our baptism as an essential part of the Worldwide Church, centring on the Diocese of Peterborough and our Father in God, Bishop Ian, working as a family of Christians specifically in our local community of Higham Ferrers.
Our CARING community seeks to identify the spiritual needs of the town and its people and to offer God’s love to all through prayer and action.
Our CHALLENGING community confronts sinners, both Christians and non-Christians alike, with the loving standards of Christ Jesus, and calls everyone to examine their own beliefs and lifestyle.
