Our church is open for private prayer but our services in church are reluctantly suspended for the time being. Our online worship does continue.

St. John's church is open for private prayer every day during daylight hours.

Use of St. John's broadband

As a result of our churches being closed due to the Coronavirus, St John’s in Chelveston would like to offer free of charge the use of its high speed fibre broadband to those who would like to sit quietly in the churchyard and listen, exclusively with headphones to, for example, the podcasts or Sunday Services or any other form of contemplative material. We would remind you of the need to maintain social distancing at all times however.

To gain access please contact either Brenda Elldred on 07816 771702 or John Elldred on 07929 328827 where a note will be made of your name and the password supplied. The network is entitled StJohnTheBaptist. The provision of the password to you assumes you have read and accept the terms of our Acceptable Use Policy below and St John’s reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time .

This is the start of a trial and if it becomes intrusive in any way it will be reviewed.

Our churches are open for private prayer only but our online worship continues
