KNIT AND NATTER

Some small projects ...

A mixture of small projects, some familiar, some new, which may be used for our next Knit and Natter stall, others for our ongoing charity knits and a request for Knitted Angels in preparation for Christmas.

  1. Bonding Squares – made in pairs for premature babies and their Mums.

  2. Chip shop baby sweater and hat – for babies mainly in Africa who have so little.

  3. Heart hugs.

  4. I-cord snakes – in answer to a request from boys who wanted to something for themselves from our stall.

  5. Angels – a request from Rev. Michelle looking forward to Christmas.

  6. Teddy Bear Hand Puppets – if you make 2 they can double up as mittens.

  7. Knitted Christingle.

  8. Charity Teddies – we have made many of these at K & N and as well as being lovely for young children many have been given to the emergency services for children in need of comfort in difficult situations.

You can download the patterns below.

Added to this we continue to support Baby Basics. A local charity who help young Mums who are in need of knits for newborn babies (1–3 months) to add to their starter packs.

Also, we continue to make Squares for blankets for the elderly and refugees. Squares can be 5”x 5”, 6”x 6” or 36 sts in double knitting wool on Size 8/4mm needles.

Supplies

If you need supplies of yarn Sara Owst has a few odd balls.
